Roy Barkley
Short Biography: Deacon Roy Barkley, a professional editor and writer, is a deacon of the Diocese of Austin, Texas. He is a member of the diocesan Respect Life Council, a former president of the board of Natural Family Planning for Central Texas, Incorporated, and speaker on profile and family matters. He is also a parish director of an RCIA program. He received his PH.D. in 1974 from the University of Texas at Austin. He has published numerous articles and several books.
